Our prestigious client has an immediate requirement for an experienced Admissions Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis for an initial 3 month period. This is an exciting opportunity to join a prestige educational establishment and there may be an opportunity for this to become a permanent position after a successful temporary assignment.

As an Adminissions Assistant you will support the Director of Admissions and the Admissions Officer in recruiting pupils at all points of entry. The Admissions Assistant will assist the Admissions Officer and Director of Admissions with day-to-day administrative duties that support the efficient functioning of recruitment activities. You will play a lead role in ensuring the administration and database functions are accurate and up to date.

Due to the location of this role, having access to your own transport would be beneficial.

Duties Include:
Creating, managing and updating accurate records on the school databases, input of information as required from the Director of Admissions and Admissions Officer.
Assist with issuing offer letters, recording deposits and registrations and compiling new pupil paperwork.
Assist in the organisation of the scholarship week, managing pupil data as they are submitted.
Assist in producing regular pupil number reports, monitoring and implementing the admissions process.
Responding to email enquiries using initiative to identify and resolve data processing issues as they arise.
Checking the validity of documents, passports, references and reports as necessary.
Assisting with the registration of new students.
Any other tasks within reason that the Director of Admissions or Admissions Officer may require.

Experience Required:
Previous experience working in an Admissions environment (desirable)
Excellent Customer Service Skills
Excellent Administrative Skills
Strong IT skills – familiar with the use of MS Office packages including Excel
Flexible in approach
Strong organisational skills
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Understanding of compliance, GDPR and confidentiality
PVG cleared
