Aftercare Manager

Sphere Solutions are looking to recruit an experienced Aftercare Manager on behalf of one of their clients, a large and well established Tier 1 Building contractor, with a regional base in Cardiff.

The Company

Our client is one of the most successful building contractors in the UK. In particular, their Cardiff base is particularly prevalent, carrying out a diverse range of projects up to £100 million.

The Role

As aftercare manager you will work across projects in and around the Cardiff area. You will act as the Regional Team's dedicated POC on all issues relating to incomplete defect repairs. You will work closely with colleagues in the division managing a post handiver budget for rectification of minor defects to ensure sub contractors responsible are notified of costs, where required. In addition, you will also manage any latent defect claims.

The candidate

This role would suit a candidate with the following skills and experience

A background in aftercare or customer care gained in the construction sector

Knowledge of building regulations procedures

Customer service skills

Ability to read plans

Knowledge of building contracts

Based within the South Wales area or able to commute
