What Are We Looking For

Following continued success, our Electrical & Mechanical (E&M) division is looking for an Assistant Electrical Engineer to join our team on a full time, permanent basis in Muir of Ord. The E&M team deliver small to medium multi-discipline projects on the repair, replacement, design and installation of equipment and plant systems for Utility services (Water and Power). The team additionally services clients within the Transport, Food & Beverage, and Oil & Gas industries throughout Scotland, including the Northern and Western Isles.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer or Electrician to develop their career within a forward-thinking company and innovative industry.

Some of Your Key Duties Include:

* Conduct surveys and ensure appropriate works are scheduled.

* To provide input to all aspects of electrical projects from design right through to implementation, ensuring compliance with Client specifications and current regulatory standards.

* Take responsibility for electrical deliverables.

* Completing contract works information documents.

* Produce risk assessments and method statements.

* Manage quality, environmental and health and safety matters on allocated projects.

What Do You Need?

* Understanding of electrical regulations and principals.

* Experience within the water or other technically complex industries.

* Knowledge of British Standards.

* Excellent decision-making skills.

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
