Peabody has exciting opportunities for Data Quality Leads on a full-time, permanent basis based in Waterloo, London. In return you will receive a competitive salary of £50,000 – £56,000 per annum.
About the Data Quality Lead role:
Peabody is looking for a Data Quality Lead to fill this challenging role. This person will add significant value by helping us to continue to improve business processes and data products. The role requires excellent applied science and math skills, written and verbal communication skills, and the natural ability to network and build effective relationships across the organisation, as well as a passion for collaboration and data.
Responsible for the day-to-day management and development of a data quality programme of work, you will use your skills, knowledge and expertise to work with colleagues to improve data quality and help Peabody continue the development of its data maturity.
We are seeking three talented individuals for three vacancies: two Data Quality Leads (permanent roles), and one Finance Data Quality Lead (9 months FTC)
What we're looking for in our Data Quality Lead:
Educated to degree level
You have experience of analysing qualitative and quantitative data and are comfortable with both
You have significant experience of identifying data quality issues and implementing remediation recommendations
Familiarity with the operations and data of a large complex business is highly desirable
You have strong interpersonal and communication (written and spoken) skills, able to effectively converse with both data quality technical and other colleagues across the business
You are an evangelist for data and how data, particularly good quality data, underpins modern business
You are comfortable working with SQL and in the Microsoft PowerPlatform, to include: PowerAutomate, PowerBI, and PowerApps, or in the similar products offered by the other large cloud services providers.
What you can expect to be doing as our Data Quality Lead:
Analyse qualitative data using recognised research and analysis methods from data quality information collection
Identify risks and areas of concern within Peabody projects from a data quality perspective and work with the project resources and across the technology teams to mitigate and resolve
Drive data defect remediation
Help build, develop, produce and manage a strategic data quality scorecard, using O365 tools and automation where possible, as required (e.g. monthly) including data insight and analysis
