The Role:
Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will have responsibility for Demand Planning and forecast management along with leading the Customer Service,Demand Planning team. You will have a track record of success and be able to work extremely well cross-functionally with colleagues across the business. You will be expected to have a can-do attitude and be an ambassador of the business and their culture both internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead & support the demand team
Managing and analysing all brands forecasts and plan demand accordingly
Managing demand for export orders
Implementing a planning strategy for both UK and export demand
Dealing with any enquiries regarding planning changes
Working closely with production and ancillary to ensure the efficient scheduling
Responsible for production line planning
Key player in S&OP meeting with both UK and International Sales / Marketing teams
Responsible for gathering finished stocks forecasts
Key contact for partner supply business, providing feedback on their production plan
Manage distribution activities as required ensuring processes adherence.
Implement processes for customer services and material management to ensure smooth running and an efficient time management allocation within the team versus tasks on hand
Maintain and manage customer service level agreements (SLAs) and liaise with all relevant teams to deliver the best possible service levels – establishing professional and productive relationships with third parties & ODC’s
Providing weekly report to leader
We are looking for someone who has the following experience:
Relevant experience in a Planning leadership role
Strong organisational skills to plan projects and meet deadlines
Able to communicate effectively (both verbal and written skills) across multiple levels internally
Possess a logistical and systematic approach to work
Be output and deadline focused
Conscientious and with strong attention to detail
Resilient and flexible in approach – able to adapt to changing circumstances
Educated to degree level or with equivalent, relevant experience.
Supply chain and/or Planning qualifications desirable
