Experienced Senior Support Worker needed in Swansea

Experience of previously working with children and young people
An interest and understanding of the needs of the young people
A fun and caring attitude
DBS
NVQ/QCF Level 3 Children and Young AdultsResponsibilities include:

Arranging individual time with a young person to enable them to seek guidance, advice and support on any matter
Monitoring the Individual Care Plan and the Risk Management Plan
Monitoring that the young person's file is up to date
Ensuring that the young person's health, cultural and religious needs are being met
Ensuring that the young person's leisure and social needs are being met
Undertaking specific therapeutic care tasks as directed by the Registered Manager/Clinical Lead
Liaising with other staff/professionals in the company about the young person's wishes, feelings and needs
Where directed, liaising with family members, professionals or significant othersJob Type:

Full time, permanent

Salary:

£24,500 – £29,000 per year

Education:

GCSE or equivalent (preferred)Experience:

Residential Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
Support Environment: 1 year (preferred)Licence/Certification:

NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care, Children and Young Adults (required)
