FIBRE ENGINEER – PERMANENT – MID WALES
Our client is seeking a major FTTX project and the main current focus of the business is across South Wales but is expected to expand to the rest of the country over time.
Core responsibilities:
* Working on PIA network
* Cabling OH and UG
* Building CBT
* Light testing
* Carrying out Health and Safety POWRA
The successful candidate:
* Previous experience in telecoms building networks
* Previous splice and testing experience
* SA001 & SA002 PIA safety accreditation
* N22 / N23 / N27 (S8) PIA overhead accreditation
* K6 (S7) PIA underground accreditation
* NRSWA Unit 2 Signing Lighting and guarding
* IT literate – experienced in the use of Microsoft word and Excel
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Ability to read technical drawings
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to work to deadlines
