THE CLIENT
A market-leading supplier of a broad range of building materials for professionals. This is a long-standing Scottish business that has enjoyed massive growth over the last three years and is expanding into new sectors as well as growing its sales team.

THE ROLE
With a focus on central Scotland you’ll develop and implement a sales plan that will see you create and manage revenue streams from professionals within engineering, manufacturing, leisure, hotels and more. There is a wide range of sectors to go at here and the market will dictate how and where you build the business.

This is a “trusted advisor” type role, where you’ll develop meaningful relationships with your customer base, adding value by providing support and advice on an ongoing basis with your customers.
You can expect full product training, so specific product expertise is less important than your knowledge of the Scottish commercial market.  
 
THE CANDIDATE
We’re looking for an astute, territory sales person who has the ability to develop a territory management plan, target and segment customers and build solid relationships. It’s likely that you can demonstrate prior sales experience form within a similar sector such as PPE, MRO, Construction, Engineering or something with a similar route to market and/or customer base.

THE REWARDS
Starting salary of up to £45,000 along with an attractive bonus structure and company car.
