PagePersonnel are delighted to be partnered with our client to recruit a Finance Assistant role. The Finance Assistant will be responsible for maintaining the Purchase and Sales Ledger. Equally, there will be an opportunity to support month end accounts.

Client Details

Our client is a market leading global business who have headquarters in the heart of Glasgow city centre. They are accessible for all means of public transport and have access to parking.

Description

The successful candidate will likely have the following responsibilities:

Maintain purchase ledger including input of invoices and reconciling month end supplier statements
Maintain sales ledger ensuring daily updates and emailed to clients
Record and administer company credit, expense, and fuel card transactions
Processing bank transactions
Reconciliation of company bank accounts
Credit control
Reconciliation of the month end balance sheet
Maintain and update contract summaries and prepare accruals, valuations where appropriate
Other ad hoc tasks, as requiredProfile

The successful candidate will likely have the following profile:

Excellent numeracy skills & attention to detail
Good verbal & written communication skills
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Experience of maintaining spreadsheets
Sage 50
Accountancy qualification
Team player
Flexible, and willing to work in a changing environment
Conscientious and responsible
Ability to support others and provide guidance to other members of the teamJob Offer

This role will offer a competitive salary between £23,000-£26,000 plus great benefits
