Job: Foreman –Civil Engineering
Boyd Recruitment are currently recruiting for an independently owned Scottish contractor. Our client has been in operation for over 30 years and work across various sectors including industrial, commercial, highways and retail.
They are looking to add a foreman to their workforce to further develop the business into 2023. Project Values are between £50K and £3M
The Job
We require experienced Foreman or Works Managers from a civils background who have led teams on site projects of a similar value from conception to completion successfully.
. Duties include:
Working closely with the Contracts manager, reporting on quality, efficiency & health & safety.
Carrying out RAMS toolbox talks and staff briefings.
Upskilling existing members of staff and being involved in recruitment of new staff
Completing paperwork per project ensuring the contract manager is fully aware of each project’s status.
The Candidate
The Successful candidate will have:
Significant civils experience
On site delivery experience – either as ganger or foreman.
Experience of drainage and general earthworks
A full UK Driving licence.
Desirable but not essential
SSSTS or SMSTS
You will be:
An excellent communicator
Keen to develop in a business with large growth plans
