Graduate Conveyancing Solicitor
Location: Livingston or Glasgow
Salary: DOE
Hours of Work: Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm
About the Role
Two Rivers Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified Conveyancing Solicitor to take the next step in their career with our highly successful client in the legal sector. As Conveyancing Solicitor, you will be responsible for all aspects of residential and new-build conveyancing while supporting a director and a team of paralegals. Although your workload will be predominately residential, you will also be required to assist the commercial team during busy periods. Onsite training and coaching will be provided.

Our client is a Scottish law firm who specialise in conveyancing. They also provide legal advice and services in relation to property, wills and power of attorney, business acquisition, and more. As Conveyancing Solicitor, you will get the opportunity to collaborate with a great team in a supportive office environment.
About the Person
As Conveyancing Solicitor, it is likely that you will have recently graduated and have recent experience in an office environment with knowledge and experience in conveyancing, private client and equity release. To succeed in this role, you will be confident in building and maintaining strong relationships with other professionals whilst meeting demanding and high-volume client expectations. Due to the nature of this role, it is crucial that you have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to work well both independently and within a team.
Key Responsibilities
* Liaison with clients, lenders, third party solicitors and estate agents
* Sales, purchase & re-mortgage from beginning to end
* Dealing with discharges, equity release and transfer of title
* Responsible for the organisation of correspondence and documentation
* Working closely with a loyal and existing client base
