Internal Sales Account Manager – Construction, Office-based

THE COMPANY
A household name within the construction industry, this prominent and well-respected independent merchant group supplies over £8million of tools, accessories and consumables to the local construction trade every year.
The business is experiencing unprecedented growth and is set to expand further this year with the opening of a second location. In truth, they are struggling to keep up with demand and are now recruiting for two Internal Sales Account Managers to actively manage customer relationships, fulfil orders, deal with product enquiries and handle supplier relationships.

THE ROLE
This is an exciting role within a strong, growing and interesting sector. Day-to-day, you can expect a massively varied work-load, with the opportunity to really build meaningful, lasting relationships with a down-to-earth customer base.
This is a Monday-Friday, office based role in a business-to-business environment.

ABOUT YOU
No previous experience within the construction industry is required, what’s more important is track record in dealing with customers in a sales environment. We’re happy to consider those from a B2C or a retail background who can demonstrate the drive, passion and ability to develop their career in a new sector.
This is a fast-paced and exciting role, where you can expect to be multi-tasking on a daily basis, therefore excellent organisational skills are essential.  

THE REWARDS
Basic salary of up to £30,000 along with an attractive profit-related bonus scheme and a number of perks are available for the successful candidate.
