Shorterm are working with a client at Cardiff Airport area who require Junior Technicians to join their growing team.
You would be required to provide a professional, reliable, safe, technically competent repair & overhaul service on a range of basic electronic, electro-mechanical components.
Working under supervision, to assist the workshop to meet the customer's needs.
MAIN DUTIES:
*Assembly, dis assembly and testing of basic components as directed
*Supervised Soldering and De-soldering as required
*Cleaning components and maintaining clean and tidy workshop areas
*Completion of relevant paperwork
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
*3 GCSE passes (or equivalent) including Maths, English and Science and be able to produce your certificates.
*Able to strip and rebuild components as directed using hand tools
*Able to follow component overhaul and manuals and circuit.
*Some form of electrical or mechanical qualification and minimum of 12 months experience.
You must be able to work between 7am – 3pm Monday to Friday. Ongoing contract position.
