Our client is a leading manufacturing business who are seeking a Maintenance Team Leader with an electrical bias to help maintain/repair their machinery manufacturing critical Aeronautical & Energy components. Responsibilities
To support the Maintenance Manager and Operations Director in achieving business objectives in terms of asset reliability & maintainability, cost control, plant upgrades andimprovements.
To support achievement of productivity targets
To support achievement of agreed customer delivery times ensuring that customers receive a high standard of service at all times
To schedule resources within your team in order to meet production requirements and ensure appropriate prioritisation of resources and activity to achieve the plan.
To identify, develop and implement continuous improvement activities with your team.
To undertake any other duties specified by the Maintenance Manager to fulfil the business needs.
To act as the High Voltage Senior Appointed Person on site (with appropriate training)
Maintenance Team Leader
Qualifications/Experience:
Experience of managing a team is highly desirable, however individuals will beconsidered where they demonstrate the relevant strengths and traits required of the
role
Detailed working knowledge and at least 5 years’ experience of working in a heavyengineering environment
Experience and working knowledge of High Pressure hydraulics, Medium and HighVoltage electrical equipment, LOLER equipment and pressure systems
Experience of Programmable Logic Control (PLC) systems desirable
City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing (advantageous).
High Voltage experience (not essential, this company will provide training)
Experience of working and fault finding on Machine Tools, CNC machines etc.
Using test equipment and hand tools to diagnose locate and fix electrical problems.
Carrying out electrical installations and carrying out preventative maintenance work
Interpreting work instructions, drawings and schematic drawings

Early Shift 05:45 – 14:00 Monday – Thursday
05:45 – 12:20 Friday
Back Shift 13:45 – 22:00 Monday – Thursday
12:05 – 18:40 Friday
