Permanent: Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer
Hours – 40 hours per week
Salary: £32,000 – £36,000 (dependant on experience)
Undertake the maintenance and repair of air conditioning equipment including service, maintenance and repair of split AC systems, VRV/VRF systems and heat pumps.
You may also be required to work on specific refrigeration equipment such as chilled cabinets / multideck or ice machines. You will have the opportunity to work across a variety of manufacturer plant, for example, Daikin, Mitsubishi, Media, Toshiba and LG. For this, understanding installation designs and bespoke manufacturer trouble shooting procedures, whilst also being comfortable with seeking manufacturer technical support autonomously is desirable.
Provide a multi-skilled maintenance service, which covers electrical, mechanical and building fabric disciplines.
Carry out modifications and installations as and when required.
Liaise with contractors or external suppliers where required and clearly communicate technical issues.
Maximise availability of all mechanical and electrical equipment through continuous improvement, optimum performance / improved efficiencies and cost reductions.
Being responsible for their own work and work of those under supervision, is completed in a safe and diligent manner.
Complete required training and development in order to maintain competent in the role.
Participation in standby rota for emergency calls, outside normal working hours.
NVQ Level 3 in Heating/Ventilation/Maintenance.
COCN1 OR CODNCO1 (domestic to commercial changeover)
CORT1, TPCP1A, CIGA1, CDGA1, ICPN1- Desirable
NVQ Level 3 in Air Conditioning/Maintenance
F Gas Qualification
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or Apprenticeship
2391-52 Testing and Inspection Qualification-
NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing- .Essential.
