Aqua-Tech Recruitment are delighted to be working with a leading Engineering company who specialise in the water industry who are currently looking for a Procurement Administrator to be based from their office in Cumbernauld. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing company who are already well established and highly reputable. The client is extremely forward thinking and will consider a 4-day working week after the initial probation period.


The Procurement Administrator will have responsibility for the procurement of all orders across all business units.

The successful candidate must be a confident communicator, have excellent attention to detail and be able to work effectively in a team environment. They will need to work collaboratively with colleagues across the company.


* Reception duties

* Dealing with accommodation and travel requests

* Process purchase requisitions for approved suppliers as directed by Procurement Manager

* Liaise with Group Procurement on ordering queries

* Process new supplier requests in line with Group Policy

* Goods receiving of site delivery orders

* Work closely with Suppliers on ordering queries

* Create Projects, Contracts and Tasks in Oracle and maintain concise filing of paperwork

* Manage the Orders Inbox

* Manage the Accounts Inbox

* Provide support to Finance colleagues during busy periods and holiday cover


* Take action and deliver to timescales

* Effective communicator, able to deal comfortably with colleagues across different disciplines, both inside and outside the company

* Excellent attention to detail

* Proficient use of MS Office in particular MS Excel

* Experience of Oracle Cloud preferable
