ID Systems part of the M Group Services Water Division are the leading service provider in the water and wastewater infrastructure sectors in the UK. As a division, we employ circa 3000 people across the UK and we are looking for aspiring people like you, who are keen to continue their career within the Water Industry.
ID Systems are an established industry leader providing single sourced solutions within the field of MEICAT Engineering. Our areas of expertise include hazardous areas, PLC/SCADA, telemetry integration, electrical engineering design, installation, project management and preventive maintenance. Due to our continued expansion, we are seeking to recruit Telemetry Engineers to join our rapidly growing teams in our Cumbernauld & Edinburgh offices.

As the Project Manager your duties and responsibilities will include:
Working within a multi-disciplinary team on projects primarily in the water & waste water, power distribution and petrochemical industries
Responsible for project delivery and managing the team
Responsible for the finances of the project
Attend and contribute to internal and external reviews and progress meetings
Participate in collaboration meetings with other engineering disciplines and professionals
Review of contracts & specifications
Procurement and support for subcontract procurement based on detailed specifications
Record and Review all project information
Continual professional development including professional registration is encouraged and actively supportedSkills & Knowledge requirements:
Experience in water industry would be advantageous
Computer literate with a good understanding of appropriate software packages
Knowledge and skills in the in the planning, specification, design procurement and commissioning of projects
A good financial background in relation to projects
A good Knowledge of NEC3 contracts
Possess sound knowledge of current legislation and able to work in accordance with QA and H&S procedures
Able to integrate well into a team as well as work independently
Experienced level of decision making and ability to prioritise and manage conflicting demands
Strong communication skills all levels with the client, suppliers, contractors and design team
Excellent written and oral communications skills
Exceptional organisational skills
Must be able to plan and prioritise work load effectively
Excellent client service focus
