We have a brand-new opportunity for a skilled Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our fantastic Engineering partner at their reputable and fast-growing company in Glasgow.

Your new employer

You will be joining a Scottish-based Engineering company who are rapidly expanding and domineering the market by undertaking a variety of projects. You will be joining the Finance Team to play an integral part in the success and growth of the business.

Responsibilities within your new role

Within your new role as Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will be responsible for inputting a high volume of transactions including orders, GRNs, invoices and the matching thereof. You will also process weekly supplier payment runs, liaise with operations staff to resolve discrepancies in goods received/invoiced amounts, and conduct supplier statement reconciliations.

Your personality, experience and qualifications

You should have relevant experience within a similar role and a previous track record of supporting an account office. Demonstrating a strong understanding of purchase ledger and subcontract and payroll processes are key, along with being highly skilled in Microsoft Office packages.

COINS experience would be a significant benefit, however, is not essential. Due to the location of this role, having access to personal transport may be beneficial also.
