The details

Role – Permanent Part time Receptionist/Front of house Administrator
Shift pattern – Flexible 2/2.5/3 days, OR AM/PM Mon – Fri
Outstanding salary of £25k-£28k (pro rota)
Equivalent hourly rate – £12.82ph-£14.35ph
Hours of work – Between the hours of 8.00am-5.00pm (an example of an AM shift is 8.00am-1.00pm / PM shift 12.30pm – 5.00pm)

This role is job share – It requires a level of flexibility with the expectation that hours can be increased to cover holidays

The role

What an extremely exciting time to join as not only is the company going through a period of continued growth BUT you will be working on a BRAND NEW, snazzy reception desk at the Head Office in Gateshead.

This is a new role to the business and a real opportunity to make the role your own. It is SO MUCH more than a reception role – There are lots of admin related tasks to keep you busy throughout the day
Providing a professional and efficient front-of-house/reception experience
General administrative tasks
First point of contact for visitors to the site both in person and by phone
Reception – receives all visitors to site, booking in/out on HFX system
Travel and Event coordination – point-person for coordinating on and off – site events; installation school room booking; hotel reservations, flights, taxis
Stationery – weekly request and provision plus replenishment of stocks/keeping stationery store in order
Ordering/invoicing – Using SAP, process orders/invoices e.g. OH actual appointments/activity which has taken place; stationery/office supplies; catering invoices
Catering – first point of contact for buffet/general catering requests including regular installation school events
Meeting rooms – coordinate ongoing presentation of meeting rooms
Post – responsible for distribution of incoming mail and also outgoing
General administrative tasks e.g. Reference requests, telephone lists, Occupational Health tasks
Adhoc duties with other functionsThe ideal candidate

Proven success in a similar role, with excellent customer service, planning/ organising and communication skills
Proficiency in IT, in particular the Microsoft Office suite, is also a requirement for this role

A friendly team player who is also able to work alone efficiently
Flexible in their approach (it is a role requirement to cover holidays as part of the job share)

Service bonus: Annual lump sum of salary paid
Bonus: 5% based on achievement of company targets, paid annually
