A leading operator within the utiltiies industry is now lookinfg for a stores person to join the business on a 3 month contract with the potential of extension.
Key duties:
* Manual handling work, lifting
* Tidying the yard
* Washing down machines
* Washing company vans
* Organising materials/plant
* Looking after stores
* Assisting with machine repairs as and when required.
* To work as part of a team and to co-operate with other staff / trades.
Requirements:
* Knowledge/Interest in engineering and how things work
* IT literate – good computer skills
* Good communication skills and customer service skills
* A desire to work on industrial equipment/engineering equipment
* Evidence of being a hard worker (i.e. from work experience, part-time jobs or from school activities)
* Able to communicate effectively to company management and staff.
* To work as part of a team and to co-operate with other staff
* Conduct all the work activities in a professional manner and promote a positive image of the company.
