Supply Primary Teaching Assistant

Salary: 10.77 an hour

Are you looking for a part-time role as a teaching assistant?

Do you want full flexibility with work?

Teaching Personnel work closely with a range of schools across Cardiff. We are currently seeking a supply teaching assistant to provide general cover to schools on a day-to-day basis. This is a perfect opportunity for an individual who would like full flexibility with work or would like to gain additional experience alongside another role. The typical working hours are 8:30am-3:30pm.

Daily tasks will include:

General support to the overall classroom
Ensure classroom is tidy
Assist the teacher with behaviour management
Leading small group activities with children (literacy and numeracy)
Work 1:1 with children who need additional learning support
What you need to work in schools:

Enhanced child only DBS on the update system
Register with Education Workforce Council (EWC)
2x professional references

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
