We are working with a fantastic award-winning client who are looking for a supported living manager to join a supported living service in Swansea. This is a great opportunity If you are looking to join a company who knows by ensuring that the staff are happy and well supported in their roles, this will have a positive impact on the care and support individuals using the service receive. This role ideally suited to someone who is aiming to enhance their career in leadership and who has demonstrable experience in supervising others within a residential care environment. Yearly performance and attendance bonusDuties include but not limited to

You will work closely with the area operations manager and build strong relationships with the customers, care managers and stake holders
You`ll promote the rights of each person you support and keep their wishes at the centre of their care and support
Ensure that all staff within your service have the correct skills and experience and are matched to deliver excellent care for the people you support
You`ll complete assessments for the people you support which will include support plans and risk assessments
You will support, develop and manage support staff in your area
Provide leadership and consultation to your team including supervisions and appraisalsThe ideal candidate

You`ll be an experienced, driven and passionate individual with experience of working with individuals who have a learning disability and mental health needs
You will have achieved your QCF level 5 or QCF level 4 management – health and social care
Previous experience of working in a management role – either in a residential or domiciliary care service
You`ll have good IT skills
