We are working with a well known and respected client who are looking to recruit a team leader for a supported living home for females with mental health, personality disorders and challenging behaviour. As a team leader you will promote and ensure that the company vision of person centred support is implemented whilst maintaining an individual's potential and independence. You will be front line manager, whilst also ensuring all necessary back-office duties are completed within compliance. Most importantly you will be enabling the people you support to live a full and dignified lives.

About the role

Support the smooth running of the service by ensuring clear communication amongst the team, all relevant paperwork is up to date, implementing a key worker system, assist in planning and booking of holidays for the service users
Provide support to the service users by ensuring care plans are up to date and person cantered care is involved with ever aspect, ensuring meds are correctly and safely being ordered and administered, ensuring the service users have opportunities to move forward with their lives and have healthy social lives and hobby's, being a point of contact for family members and multi agencies, ensuring that the service users opinions and views are being heard
Supporting the staff by providing supervisions, inductions and mentoring while also offering support and guidance daily, produce and monitor a rota and ensure the staffing levels are always in line with the requirements, plan and organise staff meetingsAbout you

You will have a QCF level 3 or equivalent in health and social care
Minimum 12 months experience in a supported living setting
Good knowledge of policies and procedures for vulnerable adults with learning disabilities and/or mental health ailments
You will be a confident person with a good sense of humour who is relaxed, polite and professional
