Warehouse Operator

Permanent roles, Dayshift Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week

We are looking for Warehouse Operators and also someone at Warehouse Supervisor level for permanent, full-time positions with our client in Uddingston.

Applicants will ideally have at least one of either a counterbalance licence or a reach licence, and application progression preference will be given to applicants who have it clearly stated on their CV or covering letter that they have one of these licences.

These roles are within an industrial warehouse setting handling very large and heavy items – it is NOT the type of role where you will be picking and packing small items from shelves or using trolleys.

Previous and proven experience of doing a similar hands-on warehouse operator role within an industrial environment is required, along with you also having a steady employment history. In addition to the hands-on physical aspect of the job which means you must be physically fit and energetic, applicants must also be hardworking, reliable and always on time, have good attention to detail, and be able to follow verbal and written instructions.

The salary banding for these roles are – Warehouse Operators £20,000 – £22,000, and the Supervisor position is £22,000 – £25,000. There could be some negotiation on these rates depending on experience, and the company if they achieve their yearly targets – which is normally the case – also pay their staff an EXTRA MONTHS SALARY once a year as well, meaning you would get paid a double payment in one month providing that the company have met their set objectives, which all of the staff are responsible for contributing towards.

Applications will be treated with the strictest of confidence. If you feel that you meet the requirements for this role and would like to apply then please do so through the link provided, and please also provide your CV in Word format. Due to application levels and the specific requirements for this position, only the most suitable applicants can normally be contacted for further progression
